1. Program Description
JCAM Global LLC d/b/a Rystik ("Rystik") provides an AI-powered virtual receptionist platform that sends transactional text messages (SMS/MMS) on behalf of businesses that use our Service. Messages are sent to end-users (callers and leads) who interact with a business using the Rystik platform.
Messages sent through the Rystik platform include: appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, service dispatch notifications, follow-up messages related to a caller's inquiry, and opt-in confirmation messages.
Rystik does not send marketing or promotional messages. All messages are transactional in nature and directly related to a service inquiry initiated by the end-user.
2. How Consent Is Obtained
End-users provide consent to receive text messages through one or more of the following methods:
2.1 Verbal Consent During Inbound Phone Calls
When a caller reaches our AI receptionist, they are informed that they may receive text message updates including appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. By continuing the call and voluntarily providing their phone number and information, the caller consents to receive these transactional messages. This verbal consent is logged in our system with a timestamp and the source of consent.
2.2 Written Consent via Web Forms
When end-users submit their phone number through a web form on a business's website or through the Rystik platform, they may opt in to receive SMS messages by checking an unchecked consent checkbox. The checkbox includes clear disclosure language such as:
"By providing your phone number and checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from [Business Name] powered by Rystik. Messages may include appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help."
2.3 Text-Based Opt-In
End-users may text START, SUBSCRIBE, or YES to the Rystik messaging number to opt in to receiving appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-up notifications. Upon opting in, end-users will receive a confirmation message with program details, message frequency, data rates disclosure, and opt-out instructions.
2.4 Consent Logging
All consent is logged in our system with: a timestamp of when consent was provided, the source of consent (e.g., "phone_call," "web_form," "sms_keyword"), the associated contact information, and the business on whose behalf messages will be sent.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on end-user interaction with the business. Typically, end-users receive 1–5 messages per service interaction (e.g., one confirmation, one reminder, one follow-up). Message frequency will not exceed what is reasonably necessary to fulfill the transactional purpose of the communication.
4. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Opt-Out Instructions
End-users may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from the Rystik platform. Upon receiving a STOP request, we will immediately cease sending messages to that phone number and send a single confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out.
End-users may also opt out by contacting us directly at privacy@rystik.com.
Opting out will not affect the end-user's ability to call the business or receive service through other channels.
6. Help and Support
End-users may reply HELP to any message to receive assistance information, including our contact details and instructions for opting out.

7. No Sharing of Mobile Information
We do not sell, share, or disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This applies to all data collected through the SMS messaging features of the Rystik platform.
Mobile opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
8. Supported Carriers
Messages sent through the Rystik platform are compatible with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carrier coverage may vary. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy
Our handling of end-user information is governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information collected through our messaging program.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
